In prevention efforts and effective control of the disease, need to be studied mechanisms of interaction between disease agents, human (host), and the environment. These interactions, among others:
Interactions disease agents and environmental
This interaction is a situation when the disease agent directly influenced by the environment and the beneficial for disease agent and occurs when the pre pathogenesis of a disease. For example, the viability of the bacteria to the sun, the stability of the vitamins contained in vegetables in the refrigerator space, and the evaporation of toxic chemicals due to the global warming of the earth.

Interactions of human and environmental
This Interactions is a situation when a human directly influenced by the environment and occurs in pre pathogenesis of a disease. For example, the cold, the rain, and the habit of making and providing food.

Interactions of human and disease agents
This interaction is a situation when agents of disease persist, proliferate, and stimulate people to form a response in the form of signs and symptoms of the disease. For example, fever, physiological changes in the body's tissues, the formation of immunity, or other body's defense mechanisms. Interactions that occur can be cured imperfect, flawed disability, or death.

Interaction disease agents, humans and the environment
This interaction is a situation when disease agent, humans and the environment together interplay and equal aggravate one another so that the disease agent either directly or indirectly has a direct easily fit into the human body. Example, well water contamination by human waste can cause waterborne diseases.
