Can't Boot from CD ROM and DVD ROM

Once when you will to re-install the operating system either Windows Operating System or Linux Operating system or will boot from CD or DVD ROM media for any requirements. So for this purpose, the boot will be made from a CD or DVD ROM. However, there are problems at first boot that is still can not boot over CD or DVD ROM. How can we do to fix and solve these problem that can't booting from CD / DVD ROM .

To fix can't booting over CD or DVD ROM, so we can perform the following steps :

The first step is Make sure that the CD ROM or DVD ROM is detected in the bios [ basic input output system ].

This can be seen in the bios setting when your computer first turns on and you open the BIOS settings and see that the CD or DVD ROM driver are detected by BIOS computer. If the CD ROM or DVD ROM is not detected, then make sure that the CD ROM or DVD ROM in good condition / not damaged. Make sure the data cable of a CD ROM or DVD ROM is also in good condition / not damaged by looking manually. If the CD ROM or DVD ROM detected but still will not boot from CD ROM or DVD ROM then do the second step .

The second way is Make sure that you set your BIOS to first boot from CD ROM or DVD ROM . 

How to set bios for first boot from CD ROM or DVD ROM you can do with two step below :
  • The first time when your computer starts up press on your keyboard the Delete key, FI, F2, Esc or F10 depending on the type of motherboard and bios that are used .
  • Find the Boot menu, change First Boot to CD ROM or DVD ROM. And then Save your bios configuration and then exit the bios .
If the first and second step above are not working correctly and your computer still not boot from CD ROM or DVD ROM make sure that you use a CD or DVD bootable. CD or DVD bootable CD or DVD that can bootable from CD / DVD ROM, and make sure the CD or DVD that is used in good condition, clean, and not corrupt
